16 Months Old

Trey is 16 months old! I still don' t have a working computer, so this is going to be short and sweet. :)

What's new with Trey at 16 months?

~ He is now up to 6 teeth- four on top, two on the bottom. The two new ones are still coming in, but they are the teeth that Collette took forever to get (she was at least 2.5, and one never came in at all), so I'm happy he has them. :)

~ He has finally dropped his morning nap and is taking just one nap a day. I have been putting both kids down around1:00pm, and so far it is working well.

~ He continues to pick up new words. Some of his words this month include nose, mouth, teeth, bubble, egg, sock, rock, and shoe. He can point to his eyes, nose, mouth, teeth, hair, ears, belly, and toes when asked, and is working on learning animal noises.

~ He continues to love playing with balls and trains, and of course anything Collette is plsying with. :) The new Vet Clinic is a hit with him, too.The other day I asked him to go get his stethascope and he brought it right over. :)

~ He is on the go, go, go and is a little dare devil. He loves to climb and stand on his little chairs, and climbs just about everything he can find.

~ He is starting to sit and listen to books for longer periods of time, and likes looking at them by himself.

~ I gave him crayons and a coloring book for the first time recently, and he had a blast coloring-- right until he started to eat the crayons. Oops.

~ He is such a happy, smiley little guy. And of course he still loves that thumb and a good snuggle. If he doesn't get his qouta of snuggles in, he will hang on my pant legs, begging "bup? bup?" (He, too, says "bup" instead of "up".... just like his big sister!)

Here are a few phone pics of our sweet boy. :)
