Birthday Celebrations

We celebrated both my Grandpa's birthday and my birthday in the past few weeks-- they are only 8 days apart-- and Collette and Trey were both able to be in on the cake-making with Mimi! They had a great time helping make and decorate the cakes. 

Collette picked star sprinkles just for Great Bumpa.

And the very next week, we got to celebrate my birthday! LL took me out for a dinner date-- I think our first real "date" since we had Elliott-- and we got to enjoy hot food and uninterrupted conversation.  Everything was so good! We went to a local restaurant that has great reviews, but we had never been to before.

We may or may not have split a dessert at the restaurant, and then come home to cake and ice cream. Ha!

My sweet girl made me a birthday card all by herself.  On the inside she wrote every one's names-- Collette Jean Reitz, Trey Reitz, Lloyd, Elliott, and Mimi. :) 

I had a great day, and am excited to see what this year holds!
