On Friday, we had a baking party at our house. LL and his grandma make fruitcake every year, and this year Collette got in on the action:
We also had Isaac and Tabby come over to help make sugar cookies. The kiddos had a blast! Tabby and Collette in particular had fun eating the sprinkles :)
On Christmas Eve, we did Christmas with LL's family at the farm. As is their tradition, they got a 7 foot sub sandwich for lunch.
After lunch, we did presents. :)
The fabulous tree:
Collette and Isaac opening a present:
A Mickey Mouse puzzle!
Looking at Autumn's new dollhouse:
Baby Trey did a lot of snoozing, but he looked festive doing it!
(Which is Big Sister sported two Christmases ago:)
That evening (after a nap for everyone!), we all went to our Christmas Eve service at church! I wasn't sure about taking Trey so young, but we sat in the back and minimized contact with people. :) It was so great to be able to celebrate with our church family.
Christmas morning, as per tradition, we made beignets (with mix from Cafe Du Monde of course!)
And then we did presents at home.
Collette with her big present:
A tricyle!
Showing Mimi the photo book we made for her:
Again, Trey was pretty mellow for his first Christmas morning. But he appeared to enjoy his present :)We even had Baby Brother sit in the wagon for a minute!
And our little man got to wear his "Baby's First Christmas" outfit:
Which I swear I just put on Collette!
Oh my. Where does the time go?
Hoping you had a wonderful Christmas! I think ours may be our most memorable one to date :)
