LL's brother and his family have been living in China for the past year and a half, and are now home on vacation for a while. Their four kids came and spent some time with Gram and Pap at the farm, and all of the cousins had a blast playing together. It was so fun because we had never met their youngest, Samuel, and their family had never met Trey, Amelia, or Jonathan Jr. The kids had a blast together and it was great to be reunited. However, since we have added four new little ones in the past year and a half, that brought the grand total to 11 cousins, which made for some chaotic days! :)

On Friday, there was a Dinosaur show in a town near us. Taryn and I decided to be brave and take our kids, along with the visiting cousins, to the show. LL was supposed to meet us when he got off work, but of course he had to work late and missed it. It was blazing hot and super crowded, and Taryn and I had EIGHT children 6 and under, including a double stroller for Trey and Amelia. The kids actually did really well and liked the show, although it was hard for them to see since it was so crowded.

After the show, the kids got a chance to pet the baby dinosaur. That's Collette's head as she pet it-- like I said, it was super crowded, hence the lack of great pictures.
The kids were begging to go to the playground when the show ended, but it was so hot we decided to go to McDonalds and let them play at the indoor play place. They had a blast and played and played, and we did dinner in the playground area, which is totally the way to go with eight children.
Our goal for the week was to get a decent picture of all of the cousins. And by "decent" we meant a picture where you could see all of the kids. We kept our expectations low since they are all so young and not very inclined to sit and smile for more than 0.004 seconds. Well, we succeeded in getting a pretty decent one! Although Trey is sitting front-and-center with his tongue hanging out, and Collette is in middle of talking instead of smiling (shocker), we got a picture with all 11 cousins!
