That would be a moving van.
And it would be moving my parents and my Grandpa into that house you see in the background.
Which happens to be next door to our house.
So, now, instead of having to drive 16 hours to Wisconsin and see my family about 3-4 times a year, we can walk up the hill and go visit. (After all, we are talking about country neighbors-- there is a good bit of space between the houses out here.)
My parents actually bought the house about two years ago when it came for sale, and have been renting it out since then, but now my dad is officially retired and they have moved!
The van was unloading until 10:30 last night, so there is still a ton of work to do, but they are here! :)
Of course, those of you who know me know that even though we may not have gone anywhere or done anything patriotic for Independence Day, I still needed to dress up the kids and take pictures.
Here are the little firecrackers!
Collette insisted on wearing her new dress-up high heels with her dress. Who am I to argue?
This little girl is getting so big. I can't believe she is three and a half already.
(Collette at 8 months, 20 months, 2.5, and 3.5)
And let us not forget this little mischievous guy:
He was just shy of 7 months old last year! Now look at my big one and a half year old kid:
Don't let these sweet smiles fool ya. These two are firecrackers for sure!
What a difference a year makes!
Now, I'm off to visit our new neighbors. :)
