Sorry I have bee silent for so long! I haven't meant to neglect blogging--we have just been busy lately and have not had much access to the internet. The week after graduation we went to the beach, which was fabulous! Our friends Phillip and Amanda rent a condo in Perdido Key, FL, and invited us to go with them and spend the the week. It was great; Lloyd hasn't had time off since two Christmases ago, so he really needed a nice vacation, and I just love the beach so I didn't need an excuse. We were there from Saturday to Saturday, and spent our days on the beach and our evenings going out to wonderful seafood restaurants. And of course, we HAD to take a day and go to the outlets in Foley, AL. It was raining and so it was a perfect excuse to spend the entire day shopping! And Phillip and Amanda got to introduce us to Lambert's Restaurant, which was very fun. The trip was great, and we were even able to put up a tent for shade so the redhead didn't fry. (Well, we did have a slight mishap with the spray on sunscreen the first day, and missed some spots, so he did still get a streaky sunburn, but the tent definitely helped.) As you can tell, we had a blast. The day after we got back, Lloyd made me get up at 3:30am for the long drive back to PA. Almost 17 hours later, we were home. Yes, that's right, Lloyd and I now officially live together again in our very own house. Lloyd started work last Wednesday, and just found out yesterday that he got his PA License, so he can officially practice veterinary medicine in the state of PA! Hooray!
