Finished Downstairs!

This is an un-baby post! :o) Since my mom has been here visiting, she has helped us get some more projects done around the house. Right before Collette was born, LL was able to finish painting the last room downstairs, the room we are using as a study/baby gear room. He and mom have been busy hanging all of our various diplomas, awards, etc. on the walls, and cleaning and de-cluttering. It isn't completely finished, but it is looking MUCH better. Here it is (with the camera-loving Byron. The angle isn't the best, but you can see some of the wall color and diplomas, and get the idea. :o) :



Also, we were able to bring over the antique buffet that LL was given years ago. It has been in grandma's basement forever, because it was given to him by a family friend when he was literally 6 months old, and no one ever had room for it. But we were able to bring it to our house this week, and mom shined it up for us. It looks great and fits perfectly in our dining room!




We have now finished painting the entire downstairs, and the nursery, so we are making progress! We still have our bedroom, the 2 other bedrooms, and the upstairs bathroom to do, but I think those will be projects for 2010. We have more important things to do right now; like celebrating the holidays with our sweet baby girl! Here she is, just because it's my blog and I can! :o)
