I hope you all have had a great Father's Day! We had a really nice day here. We decided to get a picture of Collette and Daddy before we left for church-- since that is usually our only good opportunity-- and Collette didn't really want to look at the camer. But actually, I think this is better--
What can beat a little girl looking up adoringly at her Daddy?
After church we had a cook-out in our yard for LL's whole family. Nearly everyone was able to come, which was really nice. We had a fabulous menu-- LL grilled steaks that his mom had marinated, and we had baked beans, pasta salad, rolls, strawberry chocolate pie, and homemade Southern-style banana pudding. We also made blueberry iced tea, which was a big hit. :o)
The kiddos all loved the little picnic table.
Our yard is very shady, and was the perfect place for our cook out! We spent most of the afternoon relaxing and watching the kids play outside.
Collette also gave Daddy her Father's Day present--chocolate covered sea salt caramels and chocolate covered espresso beans. :)
Hope you have enjoyed Father's Day as much as we have!!
