Our Newest Family Member

Don't worry; our sweet baby hasn't decided to make his appearance really early! However, we have added a new member to our family. :) Of the four-legged variety.

Meet Charlotte:

Yes, we are now the proud (?) owners of TWO pot-bellied pigs.  Charlotte was relinquished by her owners at the Animal Hospital on Saturday, and LL decided she needed to come home with us.  It's an occupational hazard, I tell you! :)  Apparently we are now running some sort of pot-bellied pig rescue?

Anyway, Charlotte (already named, by the way) came to our house on Saturday.  Collette is pretty smitten with her, and asks for Charlotte often. (She can say "Charlotte" pretty well, and will often ask "Where Charlotte go?").

Please note Collette is wearing her MSU dress, in honor of our (narrow, almost heart-attack-inducing) victory on Saturday night.  She is very, very proud to be sporting some cute black and white polka dot shoes with Maroon bows, too. :) She kept saying, "Oh shoes! Pretty!" and prancing around saying "At me! At me!" (You know, the "look" in the phrase "look at me" is very over rated).

If you are curious about Charlotte's housing arrangements, she is NOT an indoor pig.  :) Mama can barely handle the living things in our house now! LOL. For now, Charlotte has her own little house, but when she gets bigger, she will probably move over to Preston's house, and the two of them can be buddies. :)
