So what's new with Trey at 13 months?
~ He had a big first-- he took his first unassisted steps! He walked from LL to me and back a couple of times, and has been taking a few steps here and there since. He doesn't seem like he's in much of a hurry to walk, which is ok with me. :)
~ He is working on his fourth tooth, his second middle tooth. It's about half way in now. :)
~ He is starting to say a few more words. He currently says: mama, dada, bye, mo (more), ni-ni (night night) dog, moo, and uh-oh!
~ He still loves that thumb and loves snuggling. Sweet boy!
~ He is such a happy little guy. People often remark on his happy disposition when we are out places.
~ He loves Collette more than anything. They have such fun playing together and I just love hearing them giggle together.
~ He may not be walking, but he is speedy and determined when it comes to getting things he wants-- and usually shouldn't have! He is lightning quick at grabbing phones, remotes, computer cords, the nook, the kindle... are you noticing a trend? The boy loves him some electronics! :) He is a good problem-solver and determined when he wants something.
~ He definitely understands "no" and when I say "No, no, Trey" he usually stops what he's doing-- for about a second. Ha! Then he grins and tries again. Stinker.
~ He loves bath time. If LL has started running the bath water before we go up stairs, he will start squealing and waving his arms excitedly when he hears the water. He makes a bee-line for the bathroom as soon as I get his clothes off. :)
~ He is still a great sleeper. He usually takes about an hour long nap in the morning, and about 2 hour nap in the afternoon. He sleeps a solid 11-12 hours at night. If he goes to bed later he will sleep in late; sometimes as late as 9:30!
~ He has turned into quite the eater. He loves food and double-fists it, shoving it in his mouth as fast as he can. :) He also gets super excited about his milk cup, and starts squealing and waving his arms when he seems me pouring his milk. And the boy is a M-E-S-S-Y eater. Evidence: Ziti night:
Oh- and his new trick-- he fake chokes, and then watches me freak out, grinning at me. Stinker. Here is a post-fake-choke- shot of Trey:
He is such a joy to us; every month is more fun than the last. Happy 13 months, Trey!
