Elliott is 15 months old! This has been a big month for him.
~Somewhere during his 14th month, he finally decided walking was more efficient than crawling, and began walking full time. Which has given way to full-blown running now. He is our little wrecking ball. He will stand on those tippy-toes and reach things I never thought possible, and will clear off a shelf or a counter in seconds. He can open nearly any container, so he will open and dump every at-one-time-organized toy container we have. And he knows exactly what he's not supposed to have, and runs off as fast as possible in the other direction as soon as he gets it. Stinker.
~He was 24 lbs, 5 oz at his 15 month check up, and 32.5 inches tall. He's in primarily 18 month clothes, and is moving into size 5 shoes.
~ He still hasn't dropped his morning nap entirely. Some days he can go without, and some days he is just miserable by 10:30am and needs a little power nap to keep going. He does take a good afternoon nap around 2pm, and goes to bed at about 8pm.
~ He is saying more and more words all of the time. He has started trying to say names, and especially has been saying a version of "Isaac" and "Tabby", two of the many beloved cousins.
~He got that wild mane of hair cut this month, but really, nothing tames it entirely. Long or short, it has a mind of it's own!
~He really loves dogs, and gets so excited when he sees our dogs, or pictures of dogs. He makes the funnies little noise for a dog's "woof." Collette said it is "mostly like he's blowing air out" when he tries to woof, which is pretty accurate.
~ He got his first head wound this month-- he was going too fast, fell into a corner of the desk, and split his head open by his eyebrow. Thankfully, Daddy was home for that one, and it wasn't too serious. He sported a band aid for maybe half an hour before he tore it off, and kept right on going. :)
~Since getting a new baby cousin last month, Elliott is now especially into babies. He found a small baby of Collette's, and will carry it around saying, "baby!" over and over.
~ He still loves putting things into and out of containers, and will usually be carrying a container with some random things in it wherever he goes.
He is still a very happy and laid back boy. He has such a fun little personality, and it has been so fun watching him learn and grow this month.
