One Last Knoebels Trip for the Summer

We love to go to Knoebels, but with our patio project this summer, we just didn't get there much.  My dad works there over the summer, and he had been wanting us to come see and experience the ride where he works. He also had some free tickets and money to spend at the park, so it was fun to use that together!  The last weekend in September, we finally made it!

These kids are getting so tall! Collette is pretty much tall enough to go on any kid ride without an adult, and some adult rides, and Trey is tall enough to do all of the kid rides now!

We had to start with our favorite, The Ribbit.  Daddy still gets the honor of going on this one, because Trey isn't tall enough to ride it alone yet. :)

Elliott was content to hang out and watch the big kids.

Collette's other favorite ride, the swings.  This time I went with her. And I forgot how high they actually went! I was feeling like a bad mom for letting her go alone on that swing last year as a 4 year old! Ha! She obviously didn't care, though.

At Bumpa's ride, the Flying Turns.  It has bobsled-style cars, and people are arranged according to weight per car, so we had to step on the launch pad/scale. (No, it doesn't actually show any numbers, thankfully.)

LL and I rode together, Collette rode with Bumpa, and Mimi held down the fort with the boys.

Our little adrenaline junkie.  She had a great time on her first grown up roller coaster ride!
