And of course "Aunt" Nora came!

We have been working with her to show us her "one" finger when we ask her how old she is, and now she is so proud to show off her "one" finger.
Making a "one" with grandma:

Focusing hard on making her "one" in her high chair:

Collette had a great time playing with her balloons(and you can see the whole birthday outfit pretty well, too):

And opening presents was great! Big cousin Karen helped her with the wrapping paper:

Collette got lots of really fun toys and had so much fun looking at everything. She was more excited than I thought she would be, and when she opened up presents she would give this excited "oooooooooh" face-- I didn't get it on camera but it was hysterical. I may have it on video.
Playing with her new blocks:

Then it was time for cake! (We waited and did cake and ice cream last, because cousin's Isaac and Tabby had to come late and we didn't want them to miss that part).
Oliver and Isaac helped her blow out her candles on the Llama cake (because all of the little cousins love to blow out candles, I got a "1" candle and two star candles so that they could all help blow them out):

And it then it was time for Collette to eat her Smash Cake! She was pretty dainty at first, poking it with one finger and tasting the icing:

Then she got more into it, and decided that chocolate cake was pretty good!

She was so funny--she wanted to share her cake with me and kept taking it and holding it out for me to eat:

She was so proud to share her cake:

And what would birthday cake be without the ice cream? Collette liked that, too!

Happy Birthday, Collette!
