10 Months Old!

Ten months old.  In two months we will be celebrating Trey's first birthday! How is that even possible? Trey is such a happy baby and just a joy-- each month is more fun than the last!

So what's new with Trey at 10 months?

~ Big news: he has a tooth! He actually has one that has just broken through and one that is just about to break through- both middle bottom teeth. :)

~ He is a speed-crawler and pulls up on everything.  He is starting to "cruise" around the furniture and take some small steps while holding on to push toys.

~ He is saying "mama" and "dada" a lot more, and says "mmmmmmmm" enthusiastically when he eats. :) He also squeals (Loudly!) with delight and has started screaming in frustration, although we are working on curbing the screaming. :)

~ He is in 9-12 month clothes and is wearing a size 3 shoe and a size 3 diaper.

~ He continues to think that Collette is the funniest person on the planet.  He watches her every move and giggles at her constantly.

~ He loves to play "peek a boo" and when I put the blanket over his head and say "Where's Trey?" he starts laughing before he even pulls the blanket off his head! He also thinks "patty cake" is great.

~ He has just started to clap and put his hand over his mouth and do a "warrior cry." We are working on waving but he's not quite there yet. :)

~ He's a good eater, and is eating a lot more table foods.  He loves sweet potatoes and bananas, and is a cheerio fiend! We have to make sure not to put too much on his tray because he will stuff is little mouth like a chipmunk.

~ He is a champion sleeper.  He usually sleeps from about 8pm-8am, and takes a nap around 10am and 2pm.  He rarely wakes up when he's sleeping.  And he still loves his blanket and his thumb. I don't think that's going to change any time in the near future. :)

~ Despite the fact that he is  more mobile and busy, he is still a snuggler.  He loves to snuggle and rock, and Mommy loves it, too.

Here are his 10 month pictures!

Happy 10 months, Trey!
