Trunk or Treat Fun

Because we live out in the country, we don't do much actual "Trick or Treating," other than going to grandparents' houses.  But we do love to the Trunk or Treat at my sister-in-law's church, and we were able to do that the day before Halloween, which worked out great, since I had to work on Halloween night.

Trey was a hot mess before we left and wanted nothing to do with pictures or Halloween festivities.

That's one unhappy Beast.
(Hey, just keepin' it real.)

But luckily, by the time the time we drove the half hour there, his spirits had lifted, and he was a happy little guy again.  He even kept his ears and tail on almost the whole time! The kids were so excited to see their cousins!

Ready for Trunk or Treat!

Trunk or Treat was really fun.  It started outside, then went through the entire gym.  The kids could play games, get treats, and even have dinner of hot dogs, chips, and apple cider.

Playing games:

The corn pit is always a hit!

We even ran into our friends Erin and Noah! It was hard to get a good picture, but you can see Monkey Erin and Clifford the Dog Noah's cute costumes!

It is so hard for me to believe that in just a two more days Collette will be FOUR! Here is a look back at her on Halloween's past.  Snow White in 2010, Tinker Bell in 2011, Jessie in 2012, and now Belle.

And now my "baby," who will be two before I know it, celebrated his second Halloween! Here he is last year as Bullseye the horse, and this year as The Beast:

I can't believe another October is already gone! Bring on the birthdays! :)
