My three little pumpkins, ready to go. Collette and Trey were both so excited to wear pumpkin shirts. I have trained them well. Ha! Both of their shirts are actually from "the treasure store" (our name for any thrift shop). This is actually Collette's third year wearing the same sparkly pumpkin shirt (she found it and begged for it when it was still way to big for her), and Trey was so excited to find his pumpkin shirt in Goodwill that he put it on right in the store while we were shopping. And Elliott's shirt is a hand me down from friends. :) Gotta love cheap festive attire!
The first thing we did at the orchard was take a hayride. It was perfect weather, and we all had a blast riding to the apple orchard.
We all got to pick an apple, which everyone decided to enjoy right away. Sweet cousins Collette, Isaac, Tabby, Trey, and Amelia.
Then we rode to a corn field and picked pumpkins. Since I had Elliott in the front carrier, I made a rule that the kids could only pick a pumpkin they could carry themselves. :)
And ended our day with a little face painting. I was impressed Trey sat still long enough to get it done! Trey picked a pumpkin and Collette picked a butterfly.
Proof that Elliott was there, too. :) Sweet baby slept most of the time snuggled in the Ergo carrier, but did wake up to see some of the fun.
