Decorating the Tree, And the Children

Our favorite little Christmas tree place wasn't open this year, so we had to go to a different Christmas tree farm.  Unfortunately, the only day we had to do it, it was raining! But we didn't let it dampen our spirits. :)

 Collette  loved the "baby tree" sign, and had to get a picture next to it.  Ha!

Trey took his tree-finding job seriously.

Trey was thrilled to watch the tree being cut down and wrapped. 

When it came time to decorate, we had to have our annual "lighting of the children." :)  The kids have loved getting wrapped up in the lights each year, and their joy is contagious!

This one is my favorite. Sheer joy and wonder. 

And of course, we had to get one of our newest addition this Christmas.  His jammies say "Best Gift Ever."  We agree. :)

Collette and Trey both had to help put the star on the tree.  Good thing Daddy is strong!

Yeah.  Those ornaments have been rearranged about 30 times by now, thanks to small helping hands. :)

Do you remember our pregnancy announcement from last year, with the kids by the stockings?

Well, we now have a stocking for each hook. :) Collette hung our stockings this year, and decided Elliott needed to be in the middle because he was the newest. I debated and debated what type of stocking to get Elliott-- there are four types, and each one of us had a different one-- but ultimately decided having one that matched Trey's was the best. 

We are so excited and thankful to be experiencing this Christmas as a family of 5!
