First Snow of the Year: Unparalleled Joy

My ears are still ringing from the squeals of excitement.

The first snow of the year.

Collette and Trey flung back their curtain when I told them to look outside, and jumped and squealed for several minutes. And then begged to go out and play. We compromised and had breakfast first. :)

The trampoline is always a favorite spot in the snow.

Making a snow angel:

Or, as Trey says, "Look, Mommy! I'm snowflaking!"

Our first snow of the season did not disappoint.  Huge flakes that were good for packing and playing in.

And of course, then they needed to trek up the hill to Mimi and Bumpa's house to play and sled on their hill.

Elliott's first ever snow. It was a little hard to get a picture of him, because I was holding him, but you can see he seems to take after his brother and sister in his love of snow.

Snow dogs!

Collette in her "snow fort."

We convinced Mimi to come play in the snow with us!

All that snow fun resulted in a nice nap for Elliott.  Couldn't you just eat him up in those gingerbread boy jammies?

My Christmas PJ kids!
