What's new with Elliott at 9 months old?
~ Our content boy is starting to get moving! He still isn't truly crawling, but he does get up on his hands and knees and rock more, and he belly-crawls places. Collette and Trey only had a period of a week or two where they sat but didn't move on their own, and I have been spoiled with Elliott sitting contentedly and playing for a few months now! He is attempting to pull up more, too, although we have very few things for him to pull up on, so he doesn't get to practice that quite as much.
(He inched himself backwards under Trey's bed and got stuck. His siblings thought this was the. funniest. thing. ever.
~ He is still not sleeping through the night, although he has a one or two nights in the past month where he's slept a whole night-- from 12:30-6:00am. (It's a good thing he's so cute! Ha!) He has also turned into a belly sleeper this month!
~ He is a good little eater and enjoys a wide variety of fruits and veggies and cereal. He has struggled more with table food than his siblings did, and will still gag on puffs, yogurt melts, and other small foods, so we haven't done as much of that. His doctor said this was likely related to acid reflux and general "spittiness" (although he spits up waaaaaaaay less now!!) But he loves pureed foods, and has liked eating with the mesh food bag, too.
(That paper is the best toy ever!)
~ He is a good shopper and pretty laid back about his routine. He usually takes a morning nap and afternoon nap, but with preschool drop off and pick up, and various other errands, he has learned to be adaptable.
Here he is, our big 9 month old boy!
And here are Collette and Trey at 9 months, just for a comparison.
Not a single tooth between the three of them at 9 months. Ha!
9 months in the blink of an eye!
