Dinner Party!

Last week my dad and grandpa were able to come out and visit with us and meet Collette. We had a great time visiting; it isn't that often that we all get to be together! LL had the great idea to have a dinner party for his family and mine while everyone was here. He and his dad "dispatched" (his word) another turkey and we had a great in-between-Thanksgiving-and-Christmas feast. It was the first time we had a large dinner party at our house (leave it to my hubs to plan it for right after I have a baby! lol), and I was a little nervous about how everything would come together, but it worked out great. LL was, as usual, in charge of turkey, gravy, cornbread dressing, and mashed potatoes, and everyone else brought a dish. LL's entire family was able to come, so all together we had 16 adults and 6 children 3 and under! We borrowed a folding table and chairs from LL's mom and set up a table in the study, and it worked just great! Here are some pictures from the big dinner.
