If you know LL or his dad or brothers, you know that there is a male-carried genetic trait known as The TV Coma. All of them will stare, transfixed, at a TV, no matter WHAT is on. They don't need to know, nor do they care. In fact, we never had cable TV until this past year, because (in addition to trying to save some money) we were both fairly convinced that LL would NEVER pass vet school if he had interesting things (or even not interesting things) to watch on TV. We got two channels. Fuzzy. Mostly knot know if a tornado was headed our way and we needed to vacate our trailer. Anyway, up until know, this gene has been carried only on the male side. Both of my nephews (one is 3, the other will be 3 next month) love TV and have the same slack-jawed, glassy-eyed, blank stare as the rest of the Reitz men. However, I think my sweet baby girl may have received the dreaded TV Coma gene. When my SIL Taryn watched her on Saturday, she said that Collette would turn herself around so that she watch TV while she played on the floor. This week, she started doing the same thing at home, too. Check out the Reitz gene at work:

Hopefully it's just a phase.
On an unrelated note, I will post about our doughnut making and truffle making day, but (can you believe it?) I forgot my camera and had to use my MILs and still need to go and upload the pictures. Happy Friday everyone!
