3 Months Old!

Trey is three months old today. :) Hard to believe, I know.

So what's new with Trey at 3 months?

~He's growing like crazy! He has just about outgrown all of his 0-3 month clothes, and we are on our last pack of size one diapers.  He has also outgrown his swaddles, so just this week we decided to try him sleeping unswaddled.  He doesn't seem to mind. :)

~Speaking of sleep, our little man still waking up every 2-3 hours at night, although sometimes he will have a stretch of 4 hours. We have tried various tricks to get him to sleep longer (giving him a bottle to try to get him to eat more at one time, topping him off with 2 oz of formula, etc.) but Trey is just a hungry little guy. :) His preferred night time dining times are around 11pm,  and 2:30, 4:30, and 6:30am.

~He is having a little bit more of a scheduled awake/asleep time during the day.  He usually takes a good 2 hour nap in the morning, a shorter nap in the early afternoon, and then a longer nap in the early evening.  He usually goes to "bed" after his 11pm feeding.

~He is still a pretty laid-back little guy, and usually doesn't fuss unless he's hungry or tired. He's really been smiling and cooing a lot more this month, and catching smiles on camera is easier than it was.

~Clearly, the thinks his big sister is hilarious:

~He tolerates tummy time, and is making progress with holding his head up, and is beginning to roll onto his side, although it doesn't look like he will be rolling over in the immediate future.

~He is still a total thumb-sucker, and loves to snuggle with a blanket. It really is the cutest thing. :)
