Ready to begin! (Note the pumpkin headband C is rockin') :)
Helping Daddy scoop out the pumpkin "guts":
Sweet Trey was ready for his morning nap, but he enjoyed the process, too.
Ready to carve! Collette requested kitties and owls,
so I found some templates online to use.
Please note Super Snake's presence at the carving table. Ha!
All done! Trey and his owl, Collette and her kitty cat.
Collette was soooo excited to watch them glow.
She picked the cat jack-o-lantern face for my pumpkin.
Showing off her pumpkins!
We also carved two smaller pumpkins we had, and picked flower patterns for those.
Collette declared those "her" pumpkins, too. :)
We sported some festive attire during the day on Halloween:
On Halloween night, we went to visit the grandparents and great-grandmas. Since I didn't get too many good pictures of Trey as Bullseye before Trunk or Treat, I tried to get a few more. He is nonstop motion right now, but I did get a few cute ones:
Clapping!
Like I said, perpetual motion...
(He crawled around saying "nay, nay, nay". I really don't think he meant "neigh," but it was pretty funny to see him as horse and hear him neighing!)
So cute! You can even see his two bottom teeth a little bit.
We were going to go to a church-sponsored event in town, but it got postponed because of the storm. The kids didn't seem to mind-- going to visit Grandma and Pap's is always fun! We went with cousin Autumn, and then ran into LL's cousin's little girl, Charlotte.
I hope you all enjoyed your week as much as we have enjoyed ours!
