Once again this year, we did an Easter breakfast at a local farm market, Ard's. We had a great time last year with Gram and Pap, and this year LL's brother and his family and sister and her family decided to join us!
Wee started with a great buffet breakfast. All of the food was good, but the kids all agreed the highlight was a pancake-wrapped sausage on a stick. The Easter bunny was roaming around while we ate. Collette and Trey both thought the bunny was pretty fun. Some of their cousins were pretty freaked out by him. Ha!
After breakfast, the kids got to do an egg hunt. It was a beautiful day outside, one of the first warm days of the year, so we all enjoyed the beautiful weather!
(Autumn, Isaac, Tabby, Trey, and Collette, with Baby Jon in the back)
And with Amelia, who was hiding during the first picture. :)
On the hunt...
Trey was so excited to find these eggs in a tire swing! :)
Showing off her basket! Each kid could get 12 eggs, which made things much nicer for some of the smaller or slower egg gatherers.
Posing with their baskets and the bunny!
The final activity the kids got to do was pot a flower to take home.
Of course, Trey was more interested in dumping water than in actually potting his flower. Ha!
After the organized activities ended, we let the kids play on the playground where the egg hunt had been held. They all loved playing outside in the sunshine!!
