Marshmallow Cookie Sheep

I love crafts and I love food, which means that I REALLY love crafty-foods! I found the recipe for really cute marshmallow cookie sheep in Southern Living (yes we subscribe even though I live in PA now) and just had to try them. So, here's what you need: Mini marshmallows, white chocolate (I used chips), mini chocolate chips, Milano Black and White cookies, and Peanut M&Ms.

Start off by melting the white chocolate, and use it to affix the mini marshmallows to a cookie. You will need to build a fairly tall pile to support the head.

Using more melted white chocolate, attach another cookie to the marshmallows for a head. Pinch marshmallows to form ears, and use a marshmallow and mini chocolate chips for eyes.

The recipe suggests using peanut M&Ms for hooves, but I was making these for the little nieces and nephews, all of whom are 3 and under, so I used marshmallows for feet. (Truth be told, the roundness of the M&Ms made them hard to attach to the cookie, anyway)

Then LL came along and decided they needed tails, so he added this:

Here is the finished product. They were actually not that time consuming and came out cute!

And tasty :o)
