Let the Mississippi Invasion Begin!!

I. Am. SOOOOOOO. EXCITED!!!!! When LL and I left Mississippi, it was bitter-sweet. We were both graduating, moving near family, near a job he really wanted and had worked for years and years and years to achieve, and back to the area in which he grew up. But we were leaving so many wonderful people, a Southern culture we had come to adore, our status as MSU students, and let us not forget the fabulous food. ;) So some of our close friends and I devised a plan-- affectionately known as The Spring of '10. They would come visit in The Spring of '10. The weather in PA is usually beautiful in the spring (Mississippi doesn't really have spring... there is a week of pretty weather and then straight to 90s and high humidity), and the spring also means turkey season, if you are into that sort of thing... which my male friends are. So instead of saying goodbye, we kept saying "See you in The Spring of '10!" Well, my friends, The Spring of '10 has arrived. I am just tickled (had to throw in a southern phrase for y'all) that TOMORROW Collette and I are heading to the airport to pick up our great Scott and Lydia, and meet their precious baby boy Reed. (We literally left MS the day he was born, about 2 hours before he arrived. I was SOOO sad we didn't get to meet him!). They will be here for a week. I can't wait. And THEN-- we have a few days of just us and then our great friends John and Leanne and precious Mary Audrey arrive!!! Oh, The Spring of '10, how I've been waiting for you!!

Sorry if I've been a little lax in posting lately...here are a few pictures of the cutie pie, because I know most of you who read this are mainly looking for pictures of our sweet girl.

Pretty in Pink:

Walking with Daddy:

Last week I baby sat for my nephews Oliver (3) and Tedric (3 months). Can I just say bless all you moms of multiples?!? LOL. Two babies crying simultaneously and wanting to be fed simultaneously was a smidgen overwhelming for me! But Teddy and Collette were good most of the time. Here are the sweet cousins, the current babies of the Reitz family. (And I say "current" because it seems that between all of the siblings no one gets to the baby of the family for more than a year!)
