Squash!

Collette reached another milestone yesterday....she is officially a vegetable eater! We tried squash yesterday....LL just loves "experimenting" on Collette (it's the scientist in him) and he was so excited to try it! Collette has been loving her rice cereal and oatmeal; grinning the whole time she eats, so we figured should like squash, too.

Looking a little uncertain before the Big Taste:

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM:

In unrelated news, yesterday was LL's Great Uncle Barney's 91st birthday, so we all went to his place for cake and ice cream. I didn't have my camera, so I don't have any pictures from the party, but cousin Tabby was there sporting brand new pigtails, and she brought some teeny-tiny hairbands so Collette could try out the look, too. It was a quick-and-dirty job doing Collette's hair amidst the chaos of 6 kiddos and the rest of the family, but I thought it was a cute new look for her:
