And please. Let us not forget the fabulousness that is the fake brick wall in the bathroom, complete with double-roll toilet paper capacity:

We tried to make the best of it, buy scrubbing and scrubbing and scrubbing and cleaning some more and adding a shower head and curtain:
But then the tub started leaking and this appeared on the ceiling of our study:

So we took out the tub and have had this beautiful sight in our bathroom for the past year or so:

But those eye-sore days are *almost* behind us! Because check out what LL did to the bathroom last night:

I don't know about you, but to my eyes, that is a truly beautiful sight!!
Tomorrow the people who are designing our double vanity are coming to measure, and next week the contractor is coming. Since we have knocked down the wall between the bathroom and the little room behind it (we used it for storage) our goal is to put in a double vanity, jetted tub/shower, and a good-sized closet. The only thing that will remain in the original location is the toilet, because in a 100+ year old house, you don't want to mess with toilet plumbing!!
And even though this post has nothing to do with Collette, here's one picture of her just because:

Serious Llama. :o) Isn't she growing up fast?
