Here are Nora and Collette, color coordinated even! :o)

Sunday morning we got up and went to church together. Ready for church:
And then we picked up LL at the airport in the afternoon. After that, Nora, her hubby Steve, LL, Collette, and I all went to the PA Farm Show! If you aren't from PA, and have never been, it can be kind of hard to conceptualize what the farm show is. Here is there website, but I have taken a few quick facts about it for you from their website:
~It's the largest indoor agricultural event in America. The Farm Show Complex houses 24 acres under roof, spread throughout 11 buildings including three arenas.
~Over half a million people visit every year!!!
~It had tons of attractions, including a huge variety of animals, booths, exhibits, etc.
LL and his family first introduced me to the farm show while I was still in college, and it is so much fun to go. Last year LL worked at the PA Vet Med booth, but we didn't get to see too much. This was was so fun with Collette! Here are a few of the highlights:
Group shot!
With the alpacas! Not quite llamas but close. :o) They were so cute and soft!

Collette LOVED looked at all of the animals. She would get so excited and squeal and wave. So cute.
She liked the bunnies (not a great picture but you get the idea):
Checking out the pigs:
A 12-yr-old Elk named Seth:
Every year they do a different butter sculpture. It's made out of roughly 1,000 pounds of butter.

One of the best things about the Farm Show is the FOOD! They have PA farmers have all of their produce there, and there is TONS of great food. A few of our favorites include the fried mozzarella cheese, fried veggies, potato doughnuts (that's a PA Dutch thing but they use mashed potato in the doughnut batter. So good), the best milkshakes ever, apple dumplings... the list goes on and on. There's no such thing as "diet" at the farm show!
Happy girl at the Farm Show!!
