It's no secret that Collette loves the dogs. The dogs, in return, have mixed feelings about Collette. When she is in her high chair, there is no place they'd rather be. However, when she is "free"-- running toward them shrieking with joy and attempting to hug them, pet them, lay on them, etc.-- well, sometimes they tolerate her and sometimes they run for the hills (or, more accurately, their crates, or the yard). This response never seems to diminish Collette's enthusiasm. :o) Well, now the dogs have a new reason to love Collette. Last night, LL came home right before Collette's bedtime with a new kind of dog food for the Newfs to try. He opened the bag, filled their bowls, and put them in their crates for feeding (we always feed them in their crates because Bingo is a pig and would eat all of her food and all of Byron's before he decided to take a bite). Collette loves to feed the dogs, so she went right over to the new bag and got a piece of the new food out.

She ran it right over to Bingo's crate, as fast as her little legs would go, and handed it to her.

Bingo, who had already devoured every morsel of her food, was more than willing to accept Collette's offering. :o) Sweet Collette thought this was THE. GREATEST. GAME. ON. EARTH. She ran back to the bag. And back to Bingo.

And back to the bag. And back to Bingo.

And back to the bag.

And back to Bingo.

And back to the bag.

And back to Bingo.

And back to the bag....

Giggling and running the entire time! She was sooo funny! I think she and Bingo could have enjoyed playing her new game all night, but finally LL put the dog food bag away. Many tears ensued. But we promised she could feed the dogs again tomorrow. I think we just found Collette's first chore! :o)
