Kitchen Helper

Collette has turned into quite the kitchen helper. She "helps" me load and unload the dishwasher (by dumping her toys in it when it's empty, by taking dirty dishes out of it while I'm loading it, by attempting to climb into it and play in the nasty water that is on the door while I'm loading it, by taking clean dishes out of it and carrying them around the house and trying to brush the dogs with her "sporks"... you get the idea!),and she "helps" me get things out of any cupboard or drawer she can get into.

Lately, her new obsession has been this open cabinet by our dishwasher.

(I apologize for the poor quality of this picture and for the multiple fingerprints you can see in the dishwasher! Although this DOES prove my point about my little helper!)

She loves to get out the muffin tins and cookie sheet and carry them around. And this week, she found the metal rack for my pizza stone, and decided that it is a great new accessory.








Silly girl has also found a new seat in the kitchen-- in the open shelving next to the stove.
