Leave it to Nora to take and share pictures of our Mountain Top trip! :) Here are some cute pictures of our weekend experiences, other than the lake.
Our hike up to watch sunset and (possibly) see some animals. I think Collette and Greta took care of the "seeing animals" part with their constant talking! LOL.
Maybe you can tell from the picture that the walk was pretty steep. Collette did great walking for the majority of the time, and then the 3 pregnant ladies took turns carrying her. Because carrying an extra 28lbs on top of a pregnant belly is exactly what you want when hiking up a mountain! HA!
The girls loooooooved this chair that they could spin around. They took turns spinning each other or anyone else that would sit in it all weekend long.
I had to include this lake shot so you could see Greta's cute pig tails! :)
Nora wanted to get some shots of the 3 of us pregnant. We are all about 5 weeks apart-- Nora (25 weeks), Kelly (20 weeks), me (15 weeks). If you aren't so great at math (like me!) that makes Nora due the end of October, Kelly due Thanksgiving Day, and me due New Year's Eve. :)
I'm not sure how I forgot to mention this yesterday, but Collette took a tumble while we were at the cabin. She climbed up on a dining room chair and somehow lost her balance, and took a header off it!! Poor baby. Here is the result:
Here's a close up:
A brush-burned nose. Poor sweet girl! Everyone keeps asking what happened to it, but luckily it doesn't seem to bother her much anymore. I just hate that she's going to look like an abused/neglected child for our trip to St. Louis! Oh well. Anyone who knows toddlers (especially "busy" ones) knows how hard they play and how much they fall!
