Farewell, 2012! (and 366 Project Week 52).

I can't believe it's the last day of 2012.  It hardly seems possible that another year has gone by.  We had a lot of changes in this past year.  We adjusted to being a family of four, LL started full time at his current job, and I took on the challenge of 2 classes in one semester.  We also got to spend time with people we loved and do some fun things-- our trip to WI to visit my family, and the Long Family's visit from Mississippi stand out in my mind as two big events of this past year. The kids had some big "firsts" this year, too.  Trey had all of his big "firsts" in 2012-- first smile, first roll, first sit, first crawl, first hair cut, first tooth, first steps (in that order!). And Collette conquered potty training. :)

Although I missed a few weeks here and there, for the most part I kept up with taking a picture each day  for the 366 Project.  It is so incredible to look back on the beginning of the year and see how much the kids have changed.  Here is my final week of the project:

12.24.12: Ready for Christmas Eve Service!

12.25.12: Our Family, Christmas 2012

12.26.12: Buddies: Byron blocked the snow and wind for Trey!

12.27.12: "Tinker" Skirt, Fairy Wand, and Minnie Mouse--
Collette's loves at age 3.

12.28.12: LL's Mom's Birthday Party:
The Ross Family
(LL's brother Nick, who lives in China, decided to send 4 live lobsters from Main for his mom's birthday present.  So we decided to have a birthday party for her and cook them up.  At first it was going to be a small family affair, and then it snowballed!  This is who showed up for the party.  LL and I hosted and just smiled as people kept knocking on the door! Luckily we had enough food and enough seating, so it all worked out.  This is a small portion of LL's mom's side of the family.  She is one of 7 kids, and some of her siblings had 7-8 kids themselves! Her two sisters and some of their family came to the party.)

12.29.12: Snow Fun!

12.30.12: My Tech-Savy Family!

12.31.12: Snuggles with My Boy:
(And just look at that top tooth!)

Happy New Year!
