Snow Fun!

It snowed lightly for the majority of the day yesterday, and it was a perfect day for it.  Lloyd didn't have to work, and he had no where to go.  We spent the morning being lazy in our pajamas.

Lloyd and Collette made banana pancakes for breakfast:

And we played with some of the kids' new toys... most notably the Polar Express Train that LL got for them.

Then it was time to play outside!

Loving the snow!

Making snow angels is one of Collette's favorite snow activities.

Winter Wonderland!

Bingo and Byron love the snow!

Catching snowflakes on her tongue.

LL showing Collette how to make snowballs.
Unfortunately the snow wasn't good for packing, so we didn't get to make a snowman.

Trey kept saying "ooooooh!" and touching the snow. He liked it pretty well until he face-planted.  Then he wasn't too happy about it.  HA!

LL and Collette helped Trey make his first snow angel.

Not quite sure what to think about the snow-angel-making-process:

He loved walking in the snow with Daddy, though!

After we got done playing in the snow, we decided to make snow cream.  Our friend Nancy actually suggested it, and we had never tried it before.  The recipe was really easy and surprisingly good!

We took 8 cups of fresh snow, and mixed it with a can of sweetened condensed milk and some vanilla.

That's it! Ready to eat. Collette said, "Hey I have a good idea! We can eat it in ice cream cones!" So we did. So good!
