Because Collette is on the move!!!
Just before we left for the beach, she really started getting up on her hands and knees and rocking.
She thought it was pretty great.
She didn't get in a lot of good practice time on vacation, because we kept her pretty busy, but let me tell you, this girl wants to MOVE!
She still isn't officially "crawling" but she can make her way around pretty good--usually backwards. This is where I found her yesterday:
She had backed herself under the love seat and gotten stuck. She looked surprised, but didn't seem to mind too much.
And guess what her greatest motivation for crawling is? I'll give you hint. It's actually two things. They weigh over 100lbs each and have lots of fur. :o) Yep, Collette L-O-V-E-S her puppy dogs! She is all about making her way over to them and grabbing whatever fur she can. So cute! I'm not sure the dogs know exactly what to make of it yet, but they are good sports about it and sooooo gentle for being as big as they are. If any of you are looking for a great breed of dog and don't mind a little (OK, a LOT) of fur and slobber, you can't beat a Newf for personality!!!
