(Remember the closet in our bedroom with just a peg for a bonnet and overalls?).

(And in the guest room, this horrific metal wardrobe left here by the previous owners, because there is no closet at all in that bedroom, that now serves as our linen closet?)

Yeah. We desperately need closet space.
And we made the decision against bi-fold doors-- you know, the kind that are forever coming off their track and breaking? So, we had the people who built our vanity build closet doors, too. I think this decision fits into the "splurge" category, but our contractor agreed it was a good long-term decision, and we feel like it was soooo worth it!
So, here are the new closet doors!
(Looking in from the bathroom door, please excuse the plant leaves in the corner):

And a view from the other side:

Collette thought the new closet doors were THE GREATEST THING for playing "peek-a-boo":

And she loved sitting in the closet, too, on her preferred seat, our yet-to-be-installed towel racks:

But then we ended her fun by installing shelves. We decided to use the moveable wire shelving, which we can configure any way we want as our needs change. For now, we have one side set up for bed linens, towels, etc:

And the other side has a bar for clothes and storage.

We are so so excited about how our bathroom is turning out. Now, just the finish work remains-- trim around the inside of the closet and around the window, and baseboard. Then we will be oficially DONE!
