Sheep Shearing

On Tuesday, Bucknell University sponsored a Sheep-Shearing event at a farm in our area.  LL went to Bucknell for his Master's Degree, and knew the owner of farm from his time in the Biology Department. LL encouraged us to go, and talked my sisters-in-law into coming, too! Although the drive ended up being longer than we thought, we had a great time.

These chickens and rooster got a good bit of attention, too. :)

In addition to watching the sheep get sheared, they hosted a very nice breakfast and lunch free of charge, (including lamb sausage, lamb chili, and deviled eggs, all from their animals) and we were able to walk around the farm and admire their goats and baby chickens as well.  The kids had a blast looking at everything and sampling every food!
