I can't believe it's Easter week already! Today LL's mom hosted an egg-dyeing party for the grandkids at her house. We had a great time! This year, Collette was old enough to really do it by herself, unlike last year. I did dress her in old clothes so that it wouldn't matter if she got dye all over her, and I wore an old T-shirt, too, just in case. As soon as we got to the farm, Tabby looked at Collette and said "Aunt Kristen, is Collette wearing work clothes?" HA! Smart girl knew we weren't dressed cute today. :)
Ready to begin the egg dyeing!
Tabby and Isaac are seasoned pros at egg dyeing.
Autumn showed Collette the ropes.
Notice the intense look of concentration.
Collette, being the youngest egg-dyer, got to choose first what color she wanted use. She chose orange.
This sweet boy watched the entire proceedings from his spot on the dining room table :)
Collette showing off her green hand-- she decided using a spoon or egg dipper was over-rated, and used her hand to put her eggs in and out.
Such a fun tradition. I'm so glad Collette can do these things with her cousins!
