So what's new with Collette at 6 months?
~She is sitting up for longer and longer periods of time:
~She talking all of the time! She jabbers and jabbers and usually wakes up talking and smiling. Her newest sounds are "ma ma ma" and "da da da," along with a lot of other consonant nosies, and she enjoys blowing raspberries, too.
~She has turned into a belly sleeper. It took her forever to get on that belly but now she has decided that she loves it!
~She still has trouble rolling from belly to back. Sometimes she does, often she doesn't, and will eventually start to protest until someone flips her back over!
~She has tried almost all of her first vegetables and is starting fruits.
~She gets around on her belly; although she isn't "army crawling" yet, she lunges toward things.
~She is such a happy girl most of the time! She breaks out into a big when anyone pays attention to her.
We did a little outdoor photo shoot this afternoon to commemorate 6 months. Enjoy!
